What is Temple Filler?

We naturally lose volume in our temples as we age. Temple fillers enhance the hollows on either side of the eyes and above our brow line to give us a lifted, youthful appearance.

What can be expected during a Temple Filler treatment?

First, we will clean your face with an antiseptic; then, ice will be applied to the area briefly before treatment. We will then inject a fine needle and apply pressure with gauze. If a cannula is used, a tiny amount of local anesthetic is injected into the skin, and then a needle makes a hole in the skin where the cannula is inserted.

What is the discomfort or pain associated with Temple Filler treatments?

If you have any swelling, it should go away after two to three days following your temple filler procedure. It might take up to two weeks for all swelling to dissipate in certain individuals.

What is the downtime after a Temple Filler procedure?

There is no downtime with temple fillers. You may get back to your usual activities as soon as your treatment is completed. You might have minor edema or redness, but it goes away within a day or two.

What is the aftercare following my temple fillers?

Don’t sleep on your temples for a few days after receiving injections. Lie on your back so that your face is up. Don’t do any vigorous activity until at least 48 hours after the treatment. You should avoid touching your temples until all discomfort, swelling, or inflammation has gone away.

When will I see results after I have temple fillers?

The effects of your temple dermal filler treatment will be apparent immediately following the procedure.

How long will the results from a temple fillers procedure last?

Depending on how effectively your body metabolizes the dermal filler, this therapy usually lasts at least 6 to 12 months and sometimes up to 18 months.
